The K2C cycle Tour offers experience offers the "serious cyclist" the opportunity to participate in a unique and select riding experience through some of the most renown private game reserves bordering on the Kruger National Park.
The route is about 95km in length and starts at the edge of the Kruger National Park (near Orpen Gate) and heads off through the Timbavati, Thornybush and Kapama Private Game Reserves and then crosses the R40 and continues into the Blue Canyon Conservancy. Timbavati, Thornybush, Kapama, Blue Canyon, Swadini and all of the above mentioned conservancies are Big 5 areas with phenomenal scenic vista's.
This is the first time ever that the private reserves in the Lowveld have come together to approve a trans-traverse of their properties as well as being the first time that a cycling event has been allowed on most of these reserves. There is currently no other cycling event in South Africa that can rival what the K2C Cycle Tour can offer.
From the excitement of Big 5, to the coming together and cooperation of neighbouring reserves, this route also links together 2 of South Africa's natural jewels from the World Famous Kruger National Park to the Famed, Blyde River Canyon - the third largest and the greenest canyon in the world.
This route truly brings to you a unique opportunity and a privilege that you deserve to bestow upon yourself.
